Bone Metastasis...Preventing Bone Complications

Every day, an average of 70 Canadian men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer1 cancer and 64 Canadian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer2 cancer. (the footnote numbers can be erased from the cancer stats)
People with advanced forms of these cancers are at risk of bone metastases which can lead to serious, sometimes debilitating, and (remove) complications.   Bone metastasis with advanced cancer refers to the cancer spreading to an individual's bones.  These are quite common and often occur with individuals with prostate and breast cancer.
